BLUE WATER BRIDGE

The Blue
Water Bridge connects Sarnia, Ontario, with Port Huron, Michigan. The Canadian
half of this bridge was constructed by Canron Inc. and was completely coated
in our Blastech facilities in 1995/1996.
Approximately 450,000 square feet of surface area comprising 60 sections was
coated following preparation to SSPC-SP10 specifications using an organic zinc-rich
primer, epoxy intermediate coat and polyurethane finish previously approved
by the Michigan D.O.T.
For this contract, Blastech's transportation department was responsible for
the safe delivery of the coated sections to the job site utilizing company-owned
transportation equipment.
Our strict quality control will insure that the 25 year design life of the coating
system will be effective.
